DEL CASTILLO - LATIN ROCK WORLD MUSIC
Del Castillo draws from an infinite well of sonic landscapes, gracefully fusing old world "gitano" with an intoxicatingly rhythmic combination of new world flamenco with rock & blues. Bringing a balanced mix of ballads and higher-intensity tunes sung in English and Spanish, Del Castillo has become a symbol of the cross-cultural power of music with their eclectic blend of Flamenco, Rock, Latin, Blues, and World Music.

WARREN HOOD AND THE GOODS
WITH EMILY GIMBLE
With a natural, beguiling style, the 25-year old songwriter and violinist has been a fixture on the Austin roots scene for nearly a decade, carrying on the legacy of his late father, Champ of Uncle Walt's Band. Hood has style to burn, too, with a knack for composing songs as ageless as they are pleasing to hear ("Calm Down," "When You are Near"). The band dynamic turns on Hood's seamless duets with keyboard player Emily Gimble, granddaughter of Johnny Gimble. Gimble's understated style belies powerhouse vocals and keyboard skills to match, taking Hood to that higher plane of musical satisfaction.
