COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Waco National Sculpture Exhibition, an entity of WCAF, has been held annually in Indian Springs Park since 2004. With
sponsor support over $500,000 of sculpture has been exhibited in downtown Waco.

Thanks to a million dollar challenge grant, WCAF brings "Branding the Brazos" to Waco, a monumental sculpture depicting the Waco Chisholm Trail Heritage, Robert Summers, sculptor.

The latest Waco Cultural Arts Sculpture project seeks to establish an important local and national memorial to Doris Miller, a prominent African American serviceman, to commemorate his action and courage during WW II—particularly during the attack on Pearl Harbor—and the sacrifice of his life at sea during active duty.
